During my Senior year in high school, I signed up to join The United States Navy after graduation. I was only 17 at the time so I had to get my mother and father's consent in writing. I graduated May of 98. I stayed home one last summer before it was time for me to ship out to Bootcamp in Great Lakes,IL for 13 weeks. I was very happy with the decision that I made to serve my country. I am very proud of the decision that I made. I often find myself wondering what it would have been like if I had decided to stay in the millitary and where would I be right now. I know that I can't go back and change the past, but I have my whole future ahead of me and I can always make the choice of getting back in.
